SUWANEE GA - GWINNETT'S BEST GREEN GOVERNMENT

Anyone who lives in Suwanee understands why so many choose to call Suwanee home; and, also why we appreciate the tireless efforts of the city officials committment to providing what we're looking for as home owners.

Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful (GCB) added one more award to the list of many already received by the City of Suwanee. In January Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful named the City of Suwanee, "Best Green Government for 2010". In order to become a recipient officials had to show ongoing committment to long-term, sustainable programs that would create greener and more beautiful communities.  The expanison of greenspace, including the opening in 2010 of our newest park, Harvest Gardens, which rents plots to citizens for organic gardening to converting to a paperless municipal court system were just a couple of the many notable achievements Suwanee has accomplished over the past decade.

Hi Janice.  Suwanee really is a beautiful place.  I'm only 10 minutes down the road.  I've never heard of Harvest Gardens.  Where is it?
